Who can participate?
What are the contest terms & conditions?
1. The general manifestations of verse are required.
2. The poems can be in Arabic (Standard or Colloquial) or in English.
3. The poem must be free of any spelling, grammar or formatting mistakes.
4. Poems must not be taken or copied from any other source. Plagiarism is forbidden.
5. Poems previously submitted for the same contest would not be accepted.
6. Each participant is to send only one work.
7. No particular theme is required.
In case the above terms are not met, the contest panel has the right to reject the submitted work. The panel also has the right to edit the submitted work before publishing it in case of language mistakes.

Then, send your poem (as a MS-Word file), in addition to the complete personal information (full name, phone number, the title of the poem), to mainlibrary.contests@bibalex.org
Please send the poem using the same e-mail address as indicated in the registration form.
When should I submit my poem?
From now until 3 March 2013.
What can I win?
For those participating in English, there will be one prize for the first winner, in addition to five certificates for the first five winners. As for participants contributing in Arabic, there will be five prizes for the first five winners, in addition to ten certificates for the first ten winners. Winners from abroad will receive certificates by mail. The winners will be announced on Monday, 15th of April 2013.
